在内心深处，我无数次问过自己？但没有答案。
宿舍是家吗？在工厂打工期间，是；离职或被辞退时，不是。出租屋是家吗？租住的时候，是；不租或付不起房租时，不是！
打工之前的老家是家吗？是，那是打工者的出生地、生长地。不是，打工者每年回去一次或几年才回去一次，比住旅馆的次数还少。只有到了退休年纪，城市没有生存之地了，才被迫无奈回去，然后很长时间不能适应，耕种的技能生疏了，人情淡薄了，更不用说平时紧锁的门，门前比人高的野草，室内所有家具上厚厚的灰尘。
打工，一旦失业，就会流浪街头，天当被，地当床。有时，不是你不愿意干活，是工厂不存在，老婆跑路了；有时，不是你不愿意干活，是工厂用机器了，人被淘汰了；有时，不是你不愿意干活，是工厂搬到越南、泰国、印尼等国去了，仍旧要失业；有时，不是你不愿意干活，是每月没有加班，只能领取基本工资，除了吃饭、住宿，连基本的生活开销都不够；有时，不是你不愿意干活，是工伤、疾病，让打工者丧失了工作能力。
打工，何处是家？每当天黑，躺下的地方就是家。家是宿舍，家是出租屋，家是马路边，家是草地，家是公园、家在打工者流浪时的脚下。
In my heart, I have asked myself countless times. But there is no answer.
Is the dormitory home? During working in the factory, yes; when leaving or being dismissed, No. Is a rental home? When you rent, yes; when you don't rent or can't pay the rent, no!
Is home before working? Yes, it is the birthplace and birthplace of migrant workers. No, migrant workers go back once a year or several years, less than they stay in hotels. Only at the age of retirement, when there is no living place in the city, can we be forced to go back. Then we can't adapt for a long time. The farming skills are rusty and the human feelings are weak. Let alone the locked door, the weeds higher than the people in front of the door, and the thick dust on all the furniture in the room.
Work, once unemployed, will wander the streets, when the day, when the bed. Sometimes, it's not that you don't want to work, the factory doesn't exist, and the wife runs away; sometimes, it's not that you don't want to work, the factory uses machines, and the people are eliminated; sometimes, it's not that you don't want to work, the factory moves to Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and other countries, and still has to lose their jobs; sometimes, it's not that you don't want to work, it's that you don't work overtime every month, and you can only get basic wages, except Food and accommodation, even basic living expenses are not enough; sometimes, it's not that you are unwilling to work, it's work-related injuries and diseases that make workers lose their ability to work.
Where is home to work? When it's dark, the place to lie down is home. Home is a dormitory, home is a rental house, home is the side of the road, home is the grass, home is the park, home at the foot of the migrant workers.
